Two people have been killed and five others injured as a truck hits a CNG-run three-wheeler on Mymensingh-Tangail road.
The incident was reported around 8.45am on Sunday (Jan 26) from Natun Bazar area in Muktagachha municipality of Mymensingh, said police.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
“A Tangail-bound truck hits a CNG-run three-wheeler in the area, leaving two, including a woman, dead on the spot,” said Al Amin, additional superintendent of Mymensingh police.
“Police rescued the injured people and admitted them to a local health complex,” said ASP Al Amin.
Police seized the truck while its driver managed to flee the scene, he added.
