Three people have been killed after a bus swerved out of control and overturned in Habiganj's Bahubal Upazila.
At least fifteen others were injured in the incident, which was reported from the Upazila's Kamaichhara area on Friday (Jan 24) morning, according to Satgaon highway police outpost In-Charge Mashuk Miah.
Two deceased are identified as bus staff Abu Sayeed, 30, and Kamala Begum, 35, while another deceased is yet to be identified.
"The bus overturned on its way to Habiganj from Sreemangal. Two women and the driver's assistant died in the accident," said the OC.
Being informed, police went to the scene immediately and sent the injured to local hospital for treatment, said Shayestaganj highway police OC Moniruzzaman Choudhury.
