A bicycle rider was killed after a sand-loaded trolley crushed him at Panchagarh.

The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Asharu Barman.

Two others have been injured in the incident, which was reported from the Boda-Debiganj highway in the district on Thursday (Jan 23) night.

Locals said, a tractor, a trolley and bus collided on the highway and made the trolley upend on Barman, who was riding a bicycle beside it. Barman died on the scene.

Police recovered the body from the scene and sent to upazila health complex and the injured was rushed to the same facility.
