The Jatiya Party says it believes the elections to the Dhaka North and South city corporations will be free and fair.
“Level-playing field is still carried on,” its Chairman GM Quader said on Sunday (Jan 12) while addressing an aid event at Lalmonirhat.
Ruling out the BNP’s allegations over electronic voting machines (EVMs) fraud, he said, “There is no scope to rig polls through EVMs.”
Mentioning several ongoing development projects at the northern district Lalmonirhat, Quader said, “Unemployment crisis in Rangpur, Lalmonirhat and Kurigram will come to an end after realising these megaprojects.”
“Famine [at northern districts] will be rid for good,” he added.
