Senior Cabinet member Obaidul Quader inaugurated the triennial council of the Awami League’s Narail unit on Tuesday (Dec 3).Those involved with graft are under the government’s radar and won’t be spared, said senior Cabinet member Obaidul Quader.
“Measures will be initiated against them in due time,” he said while inaugurating the triennial council of the Awami League’s Narail unit on Tuesday (Dec 3).
Reiterating that a cleansing drive was ongoing within the party, he added, that honest leaders will be valued.
Quader who serves as the ruling party general secretary called on everyone to aid party chief and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s endeavours against crimes. “Say no to graft, crimes, drugs, extortion and tender manipulation.”
He said that nepotism during formation of committees won’t be condoned and called on leaders to not bring in controversial activists.
Quader said that the country was on the “highway to development,” and it is because of Hasina Bangladesh is now a role-model for development.
