India to give Bangladesh $193m for high-tech parks

The government of India will give Bangladesh $193 million for the construction of 12 high tech parks, said Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Riva Ganguly Das.
“In four years, 12 high-tech parks will be constructed in Bangladesh with the financial assistance from Indian government,” she said during a program in Rangpur on Thursday (Nov 27).
“The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Bangladesh is gradually increasing. To train around 30,000 youth for IT industry, Indian government will finance USD 193 million to construct 12 high-tech parks,” she added.
The Indian diplomat has called for product variety to escalate bilateral trade between two neighboring countries.
She also assured traders that present complications for import-export commerce of the two states will be sorted soon.
