Three have been killed and 10 injured after a bus turned over at Bogura’s Shibganj Upazila.
The incident was reported from the Dhaka-Rangpur Highway late on Thursday (Oct 24), confirmed Gobindganj police OC Abdur Kader Zilani.
The deceased have been identified three-year-old Mehedi Hasan, 22-year-old Shabnur Khatun, her two-and-half-year old daughter Monjila Akhter.
According to the police and locals, the driver of a Dhaka-bound Rahbar Enterprise bus lost control and fell into a paddy field killing three people on the spot.
The injured were rescued and taken to Bogura Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital and nearby medical centres.
“The bus has been seized and the bus and helper escaped,” said OC Zilani.
