Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been lauded by the global community for her stance against terrorism and militancy, says Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
His country stands by Bangladesh with its war against terrorism, said the visiting Indian minister.
“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been praised worldwide for adopting a zero-tolerance policy against militancy and terrorism,” he said while addressing an even at the Bangladesh Police Academy in Rajshahi.

Citing the existing India-Bangladesh relation reaching its peak, Rajnath said, “Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has termed it (the relation) as the golden chapter.”

Expressing his satisfaction over the progress of India’s assistance on training the Bangladesh security forces, Rajnath said, “We (India) have trained 681 police officials over the past couple of years and it would our pleasure to help Bangladesh more.”
