A man has been stabbed to death in Tongi, Gazipur.
The deceased was identified as Kamrul Islam, 35 son of Abul Kashem from Naogaon Sadar upazila.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday (Sept 7).
Sub-Inspector (SI) Sohrab Hossain of Tongi (East) police station said some miscreants had snatched Shohrab’s laptop, mobile phone and money around 4:30 am and then stabbed him to death.
Locals informed police in the morning when they saw his dead body near Tongi college gate.
Tongi (East) police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kamal Hossain said police have sent his body for autopsy to Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital morgue.
