A total of 185 people have been diagnosed with the mosquito-borne virus and one killed in the southwestern district of Jashore.
In Khulna district, two people have died and 160 have been diagnosed with dengue so far. Moreover, 126 in Kushtia, 60 in Jhenaidaha, 37 in Satkhira, 32 in Chuadanga, 29 in Narail, 23 in Bagerhat and 17 in Meherpur have tested positive for dengue.
According to the Khulna health department, the patients checked into hospitals between Jul 1 and Aug 4.
Khulna health department chief Ferdousi Akter said that as many as 117 people have been diagnosed with dengue in the Khulna Division from 2 pm Saturday (Aug 3) till Sunday (Aug 4) 2 pm.
