Three alleged robbers have been killed in a lynch-mob attack in Feni’s Daganbhuiyan Upazila.
The incident was reported in the early hours on Saturday (Apr 13) from Uttar Alipur village in the upazila’s Matubhuiyan Union, said police.
The deceased have been identified as Shohag, 30, Monir Hossain, 28 and Nur Alam.
“Locals trapped the robbers when they attempted to rob at the village around 3:30am and gave them a good thrashing,” said Daganbhuiyan police OC Saleh Ahmed Pathan.
“The robbers were taken to Feni Sadar Hospital where the doctor declared them dead, said Pathan.
“The bodies have been kept at the hospital,” added the OC.
