Two including a policeman died in separate road accidents in Gazipur on Thursday night.
The victims are Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Mirer Bazar Police Camp, Amzad Hossain and Sagor Bose, 29, hailed from Jhajhor area in the district.
ASI Amzad was killed on the spot when a truck lost control and ran over him on the Dhaka bypass road in the late hours of Thursday, said the OC of Joydebpur Police Station Aminul Islam.
Salna Highway Police Station OC Basudeb Sinha said that Sagor was killed immediately when a truck hit his motorcycle from the back at the Rajabari area on Dhaka-Tangail highway around 10pm on Thursday.
Anjan Bose, the father of deceased, who was also on the motorcycle, was injured and taken to the nearby hospital, the OC added.
