At least two people have been killed and 32 others injured in a road crash in Chattogram.
The accident took place at the district’s Anwara Upazila around 8.30am on Saturday (Dec 29), said Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police camp Assistant Sub-Inspector Alauddin Talukder.
The deceased are identified as 35-year-old Sultana Razia and 27-year-old Irfan.
“A bus carrying workers hits a CNG-run three-wheeler near to Korean EPZ in Chattogram which causes the accident,” Alauddin said.
“The injured were rushed to the hospital where the doctor declared two of them dead,” he added.
Among the injured people, 30 have been admitted to the hospital, added Alauddin.
