The road crash, reported on Saturday evening from the district’s Kasba Upazila, has left another injured, said police.
All four of the victims were riding on a single motorbike, said Assistant Superintendent of Police Abdul Karim.
“As soon as they reached Shahpur near the Kasba town, their motorcycle collided head-on with a truck, leaving one dead on the spot. The three others were taken to the Cumilla Medical College Hospital, where two succumbed to their injuries,” he said.
The deceased have been identified as Nurul Amin and Enamul Haque Faisal of the Kuti Union BCL unit, and Md Sajal Mia of Kayempur Union BCL unit, said the police officer.
