We follow the ideologies of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his daughter Sheikh Hasina is our leader, said the Awami League Jashore-3 candidate Kazi Nabil Ahmed.
“Our party is Awami League and symbol is ‘boat’; it’s our job to ensure our victory,” he said on Friday (Nov 30) while speaking at a programme in Jashore where he was the chief guest.
The incumbent member of the parliament said that the AL is a big family and if the party President Sheikh Hasina nominates somebody to contest, everyone should work heart and soul to help him win.
Saying that the convener of Oikya Front Dr Kamal Hossain has formed a coalition of anti-liberation force Jamaat, militancy, terrorism and corruption, he added, “We will get rid of these evil forces by ensuring Sheikh Hasina takes office after the Dec 30 polls.”
Addressing the party activists, Kazi Nabil said, “There was a healthy competition among the aspirants before getting nominations. Now we have to set aside all personal agenda and discontent and ensure a win for AL.”
