A member of the family who sustained burn injuries after fire erupted from a gas leakage at the capital’s Ashulia on Friday, has succumbed to her injuries on Saturday morning, said police.
The deceased is identified as Hasina Begum, 40.
“The other members Arab Ali, 50, Abdur Rauf, 25, Ripa, 20 and Ayedha Moni, 2 have been treated at Dhaka Medical College Hospital’s burn unit,” Ashulia police Sub-inspector Jabed Masud told Bangla Tribune.
The incident was reported from a residence at Jamgora Molla Bazar area in Ashulia on Friday morning.
