BNP helped the culprits of Pilkhana tragedy: Quader

“Where was their chief Khaleda Zia all day on Feb 25?” he said during an event at Narayanganj on Saturday (Oct 13).
“I ask their Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir to explain why she was missing for almost 24 hours,” the road transport minister lashed out.
It has been proven that BNP is an internationally recognized terrorist party with no ethics or ideals said Quader.
“Trying to implicate the government in those tragedies is a desperate move on their part,” he added.
The Pilkhana tragedy was a mutiny staged by members of Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) on Feb 25 and 26 in Dhaka and the massacre left several army officials and civilians dead along with the then BDR Director-General.
Several civilians and army officials were held hostage and properties were looted and vandalized during the massacre.
