Two killed in Cumilla clash

CumillaA clash in Cumilla has left two people killed and at least 15 others injured.
The incident was reported from a village in Brahmanpara Upazila on Saturday (Sept 8), said police.
The clash between two groups of villagers erupted over a land dispute, according to locals.
Supporters of expatriate Shamsul Haque and on Liton attacked each other with local weapons on Saturday morning, said Brahmanpara police OC Shahjahana Kabir.
The dead victims are 45-year-old Khorshed Alam and 60-year-old Shanu Mia.
“Khorshed Alam died on the spot while six others were in taken to the local hospital in critical condition. Shanu Mia died while being under treatment,” said OC Kabir.
Police have started the procedure to file cases over the killing.
