Awami League Secretary Obaidul Quader was addressing a brief rally at Tangail’s Gharinda railway station on Saturday.Vowing actions against internal unrest, Awami League Secretary Obaidul Quader has warned of initiating measures against party activist instigating ‘unrest’ before the national election.
“There’s no place in the Awami League for renegade in the upcoming national election,” he said on Saturday while addressing a brief rally at Tangail’s Gharinda railway station.
Road Transport Minister Quader is on a campaign trip aboard the Nilsagar Express to Nilphamari with a group of central Awami League leaders on Saturday.
He is likely to attend public meetings at Ishwardi in Pabna, Natore, Shantahar in Bogura, Akkelpur in Joypurhat, Birampur, Fulbari and Parbatipur in Dinajpur and Syedpur in Nilphamari.
Calling grassroots leaders not to create any indiscipline and chaos in the party, Quader action against those violating discipline in the party has started.

“The people of this country do not want to see the BNP in office anymore. The Awami League will once again get the people’s mandate for the development it has done.
Earlier on Saturday, the Quader-led party delegation, left Dhaka’s Kamalapur Railway Station aiming to carry out electioneering in northern districts.
Speaking to the media in Dhaka, the AL general secretary said the tour aimto reach the message of development works carried out by the AL government to grassroots level and strengthen the party.
The organisational activities of the party will play an important role in making grassroots people aware about the ‘rumor politics’ of BNP and Jamaat, according to him.
AL joint-general secretary Jahangir Kabir Nanak, campaign and publication secretary Hasan Mahmud, cultural secretary Ashim Kumar Ukil, organising secretary Ahmed Hossain, B M Mozammel Haque, Abu Sayeed Al Mahmood Swapon, Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury and Biplob Barua are accompanying the general secretary in the visit.
