A man has been killed and 20 others injured in a road crash in Rajshahi, police said.
The incident was reported from Belpukur Checkpost area of the district’s Puthia Upazila early on Monday.
The deceased is Aminul Islam, 30, of Chapainawabganj’s Shibganj Upazila.
Belpukur police OC Sheikh Md Golam Mostafa told Bangla Tribune, “A Dhaka-bound bus of Rupa Enterprise, coming from Chapainawabganj, fell into a roadside ditch in Belpukur area at 1am as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving at least 20 people injured.”
The injured were taken to Rajshahi Medical Collge Hospital where Aminul succumbed to his injuries.
The body was handed over to the family after completing legal formalities, said the OC.
