The officer-in-charge of northern district of Natore’s Banpara highway police station has been withdrawn.
OC GM Samsun Noor was withdrawn on Monday two day after 15 people were killed in road crash in the district’s Lalpur Upazila on Saturday (Aug 25).
“The OC has been withdrawn for the sake of investigation into road crash,” Highway police (Bogura zone) ASP Mozammel Hossain told Bangla Tribune.
Noor has been attached to the police’s Bogura office, he added.
When contacted, Noor informed that he was preparing to leave Natore.
