BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia would be paralysed any moment, claimed party’s secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

The BNP leader made the remark in a press briefing at the party headquarters in the capital on Sunday (June 17).

“Her family members met her at the jail on Saturday. She can’t even walk herself. We demand her to shift to the United Hospital for better treatment,” he said.

In reply to a question of the home minister’s offer for CMH treatment, he said that Khaleda Zia will not go there.

Being questioned, he said that she is the leader of people, adding, “We will free her from the jail through protests and unfetter the democracy by forming people’s government.”
