As many as 136 people have been hospitalised with mosquito-borne virus dengue in the last 24 hours.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said that the number of patients admitted have increased as of 8 am, Saturday (Nov 16).
On Friday (Nov 15), the number of dengue patients had gone down to below 100 ever since the outbreak.
So far in November, 2,540 people have been diagnosed with dengue while a total of 98,636 people were admitted to various hospitals across the country with the disease.
Meanwhile, the Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) puts the official number of deaths from dengue to 112.
