Over 2.5m students to sit for Primary, Ebtedayee exam

The two and a half hour examinations will begin at 10:30am daily and the tests will end on Nov 24, said a statement issued by the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education on Saturday (Nov 16).
As many as 2,553,267 students will attend the Primary terminal examinations at 7,470 centres across the country. Of them, 1,181,300 are boys and 1,371,967 girls.
Besides, 350,371 students – 187,082 boys and 166,281 girls – will sit for the Ebtedayee terminal examinations at 7,458 centres across the country.
Besides, 615 students will take the tests from eight countries.
The statement said an additional 30 minute would be allocated for students with special needs.
All the necessary preparations have been completed to hold the examinations properly with question papers have been sent to 184 exam centres located in remote areas under special arrangement, read the statement.
