Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Thursday met with the family members of the two students who were killed by a bus on Airport Road Sunday.

Some students of Shahid Ramij Uddin Cantonment College including Dia Khanam Khan and Abdul Karim Sajeeb were waiting at a stoppage bus on Airport Road when a Jabal-e-Noor bus ran over them as its driver was engaged in a race with another vehicle.

The prime minister consoled the families and gave each family Tk 2 million saving certificates.
The press wing if the PM Office disclosed the information.
Meanwhile, owners of public transport have decided not to operate buses in fear of vandalism.
Only a handful of buses are plying on the city road on Thursday when the students have taken to the streets demanding for safe road and punishment of killer bus driver who ran over two students on Airport Road Sunday.
