Bangladesh believes in talks with neighbours for solving problems: Hasina

Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh called on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official residence on Saturday. FOCUS BANGLABangladesh believes in resolving all problems through talks with its neighbours, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina told Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday.
The minister, who arrived in Dhaka the previous day, called on Hasina at her official residence the Ganabhaban, reports BSS.
Additional Press Secretary to the PM Nazrul Islam briefed the media after the meeting. “She said many issues, including the land boundary have been settled through bilateral discussion.”
The PM reiterated Dhaka’s firm stance against terrorism and violent extremism in all its forms saying in line with its “zero tolerance policy” a “Bangladesh does not allow its territory to be used by any terrorist individual, group or entity against any state or people”.
Singh, on the other hand, stressed dialogue among South Asian countries to uproot terrorism saying it would be possible “through united efforts of all”.
Singh highly appreciated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s dynamic leadership and said achievement of 7.78 percent GDP growth is possibly the highest and fastest in the world.
The Indian Minister mentioned that Bangladesh and India are now enjoying the highest level cordial bilateral relations.
