Student bodies supported by leftist alliance have taken position at Teacher Students’ Centre (TSC) demanding cancellation of DUCSU election and re-scheduling.

Taking position at the TSC on Tuesday (Mar 12) morning, the students started to chant, “We will not accept a rigged election.”

VP candidate of DUCSU election, Liton Nandi, said, “Our movement is going on and we want a re-scheduling of the election.”

We have talked to newly elected VP, Nurul Huq Nur, and everyone is with us; the students supporting quota movement have also joined us, said Nandi.

On Monday (Mar 11), all student bodies apart from Chhatra league boycotted the election, classes and called a strike.
