Two Kushtia Islamic University students reportedly committed suicide separately for their forbidden affair on Thursday.
The deceased were Mumtahina Mumu and Roknuzzaman, both from the Finance and Banking department.
The OC of Jhenaidah Police Station Sheikh Emdadul Haque said, ‘Mumu’s body was found in the bedroom hanging with a fan. The investigation is underway.”
Officer-in-Charge of the GRP Police Station Abdul Aziz said, "A young man committed under the train at Moti Mia Railgate area.”
Their acquaintances and friends at the campus claimed that both of them have killed themselves as their family members denied to accept their relationship.
