Road crashes claim four in 3 districts

In Jashore, two people were killed in a road accident.
The deceased have been identified as 75-year-old Golam Rabbani and 55-year-old Joshna Begum.
The incident occurred around 6am on the Jessore-Khulna highway.
Naowapara Highway police Sub-Inspector Omar Faruk said: "A Prince Paribahan bus lost its control at Jafarpur area killing two pedestrians on the spot.”
Their bodies have been sent to Jashore General Hospital for autopsy.
In Patuakhali, a Chhatra League member was killed in a road accident.
The deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Mahin.
The incident occurred around 9pm at Madhabpur village of Bauphal upazila in the district.
Mahin was travelling to Bhuria when his motorcycle lost control and hit a tree. He was sent to Patuakhali General Hospital where the doctor declared him dead.
Bauphal police OC Khandaker Mostafizur Rahman confirmed the matter to Bangla Tribune.
In Khulna, a child was crushed under a battery run three-wheeler.
The victim has been identified as 5-year-old Ratul.
The incident occurred around 12am.
Sonadanga Model police Sub-Inspector Harshit Mandal said: "Ratul’s mother was collecting water when Ratul walked onto the street, falling under the wheels of a battery run three-wheeler.”
“When he was taken to Khulna Medical College and Hospital where the doctor declared him dead,” added Mandal.
