SunamganjThe father, uncle and neighbour of five-year-old Tuhin Hasan, who was murdered at Kezaura village in Dirai upazila in Sunamganj, have been sent to jail at the end of their three-day remand.
Tuhin's father Abdul Basir, uncle Abdur Musabbir, and Jamshed Ali were produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court which sent them to jail, said Mahbubur Rahman, Sunamganj additional superintendent of police on Friday, reports UNB.
On Oct 15, Tuhin's father, uncle, and neighbour Jamshed were sent on a three-day remand in connection with the murder.
The five-year-old Tuhin was murdered only to implicate their rivals in the case, said Sunamganj Superintendent of police (SP) Mizanur Rahman.
Tuhin's mutilated body was found hanging from a tree on the morning of October 14, with the knives used to kill him jammed into his abdomen.
His mother Monira Begum filed a murder case accusing 10 people of the murder on Tuesday.
