Soon after the crash, locals blocked the Jashore-Benapole and Jashore-Satkhira highways, which was lifted two hours later on the administration’s assurance.A teenage girl in Jashore has lost a leg when a pick-up truck rammed a three-wheeler van carrying students to their schools.
The incident was reported Wednesday morning from the southwestern district’s Sarsha Upazila. Soon after the crash, locals blocked the Jashore-Benapole and Jashore-Satkhira highways, which was lifted two hours later on the administration’s assurance.
Witnesses said, the pick-up truck rammed the school van carrying the students around 8am leaving three sixth-graders of the local Buruj bagan Pilot School were injured.
Of them, Moftahul Jannat Nipa’s leg was severed.
