Combination of photos shows Hosne Ara Parveen and her husband Farid Uddin.

One of the victims of the terrorist attack in New Zealand’s Christchurch is Hosne Ara Parveen, a Bangladeshi citizen.
Forty two year old Parveen is one of the three Bangladeshis to die in the attack that has claimed 49 lives so far. Her husband, Farid Uddin has survived.
Her family living in the country is in a state of shock at her sudden death. Her husband, a paralyzed patient, is currently at their home in Christchurch.
Parveen who hails from Sylhet married Farid in 1994 and immigrated to New Zealand after a few years. They have a daughter together.
“There are two mosques side by side in Christchurch; one for men and one for women,” Mahfuz Rahman, Parveen’s nephew told Bangla Tribune.
He added that his aunt accompanied her husband who is in a wheelchair and helped him to the men’s mosque and went to the one for females.
“After fifteen minutes Parveen heard gun shots and went to the male mosque. She died on spot when the terrorist shot her,” Mahfuz added.
He said that New Zealand police have informed her family of her death but the body hasn’t been handed over yet.
“Farid Uddin survived as a few people inside the mosque helped him out after hearing the gunshots,” he added.
Parveen’s sister-in-law who lives in New Zealand informed her family in the country about her death an hour after the terrorist attack, he said.
She had visited Bangladesh with her family in 2009 last.
