In 2015, assistant teacher Zahirul Islam uploaded photo, certificates to information portal e-primary, but he has now found that all his information has disappeared.
Reportedly, the information of many teachers has been deleted from e-primary.
It’s believed that those who were entrusted with the duty of uploading information do not work without money.
To get additional money, they delete information and when a victim goes to re-load information, they demand money.
Reportedly, the teachers have to pay between Tk 300 and Tk 800 and those who cannot pay are told that the server is not working.
However, computer operator Kamal refuted the allegations, saying, “I am not involved in this unscrupulous business anymore.”
District assistant primary education official, Mostafa Kamal, said, “I am aware of the complaints and ensure that e-primary is started following regulations.”
