Police have recovered a hanging body of a housewife from her residence in capital’s Golapbag area in Jatrabari on Friday.
The law enforcers also found the body of Jotsna Begum, 30, along with her injured husband Swapan Mia, 40, and their children Joha and Ifti from the house.
Injured persons were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Ifti is a grade-9 student while Joha is in grade-2.
DMP Deputy Commissioner of Wari area Farid Uddin told Bangla Tribune that the incident occurred over family quarrel.
Jotsna tried to kill her husband and at one point, she hanged herself assuming Swapan was dead.
