Awami League Presidium Member Mohammad Nasim has said that electoral law has to be amended to give all public representatives the chance to campaign.
He made the remarks at the Dhaka Reporters’ Unity on Monday (Jan 6).
“We want a free, fair and neutral election. Addressing the people of Dhaka, he observed: “You have to ensure that an evil power does not come to power.”
“We will accept the verdict of the people and want to see the victory of democracy,” said Nasim.
“I ask to Election Commission, EC to ensure a proper election and an equal chance for all candidates to carry out campaigning,” he added.
