GM Quader has been re-elected as the chairman of the Jatiya Party while Raushon Ershad has been made as to the chief patron of the party founded by late military strongman HM Ershad.
Sheikh Seraj, the chief election commissioner, announced the names at the party's the ninth national council on Saturday (Dec 28).
Later, Quader named Moshiur Rahman Ranga as the party's secretary-general.
The councillors tasked Quader with the job of forming the central committees.
"The central committees will be announced later," said Quader, who has been re-elected as the chief for the next three years.
