A reign of terror has enveloped Bangladesh, says BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
“Women and children are tortured across the country. No one is safe as the weak are being oppressed everywhere,” he said addressing a seminar at capital’s Institution of Engineers Bangladesh on Sunday (Dec 1).
The BNP leader has also criticized the delay in Sagar-Runi murder case and said, “Former home minister assured the capture of the murderers in 24 hours. However, the mystery didn’t come to light in eight years.”
