Amid the speculations over the two MPs-elect from Dr Kamal Hossain-led Gano Forum may take their oath to 11th Parliament, one of its top leaders has reiterated that the party is still sticking to its decision of not sending its members to the House.
“We still uphold the decision to not take the oaths and we haven’t made any change yet. Gano Forum’s decision is as same as the Jatiya Oikya Front’s,” said Gano Forum Executive President Subrata Chowdhury.
Speaking to Bangla Tribune on Monday (Jan 28), Chowdhury made it clear that none of Gano Forum two MPs-elect will take the oath of their offices.
“None of MPs-elect, who have won under the banner of Oikya Front including our two, will take the oath and no change to this decision yet,” he said.
