Fakhrul wins Bogura-6, lost Thakurgaon-1

The BNP leader won 2,05,987 votes in Bogura -6 while his Grand Alliance opponent Nurul Islam Omor got 38,961 votes.
Meanwhile, Awami League candidate in Tahkurgaon-1 Ramesh Chandra defeated Fakhrul by winning 2,25,798 seats.
Mirza Fakhrul was contesting the polls on behalf of incarcerated BNP chief Khaleda Zia in Bogura-3.
