Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's son Sajeeb Wazed Joy is now officially a part of the ruling Awami League’s election panel.

Joy who has been serving the PM as her ICT affairs adviser is now an official member of the core committee on polls affairs.

He is also a member of the party’s Rangpur district and Pirganj Upazila units.

The core committee will be responsible for monitoring the 15 committees that were formed on Friday (OCT 26) to oversee the party activities for the upcoming polls.

The33-member core committee is comprised of AL presidium and advisory council members.
