Milhanur Rahman Naomi, who talked with BNP leader Amir Khasru Mahmud Chwodhury about sabotaging student demonstration, has been sent to court for 10-day remand.
Detective Branch Senior Assistant Police Commissioner Shahadat Hossain Suma said, “I sent him to the court as we want to quiz him about who are involved in the sabotage activities.”
The Detective Branch filed a case under Special Powers Act against him on Saturday. Amir Khasru’s name was also included in the case.
Naomi is a son of Siddiqur Rahman, a former union parishad chairman in Cumilla.
