Nepal has suspended on-arrival visas for nationals of all country amid the worldwide coronavirus outbreak.
The landlocked country has also made certificate of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests mandatory for all passengers.
National flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines has cancelled two flights to Nepal scheduled for March 15 and 17, its Managing Director Mokabbir Hossain said on Saturday (Mar 14).
“Biman will operate its flight to Nepal scheduled for Mar 19,” he added.
Himalaya Airlines, a Nepal–China joint venture, has reduced its flights for Dhaka-Kathmandu route amid the virus fear, said its general sales agent SAir AIR BD.
SAir Director Mohammad Moniruzzaman said, “Our flights are being rescheduled and cancelled.”
“We will operate three flights instead of regular seven ones from April,” he added.
