Students have staged a sit-in in front of the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority office in Mirpur as part of their protest campaign Wednesday afternoon.
For the last four days, they are protesting the killing of two college students who were killed by a Jebel-e-Noor bus when its driver was engaged in a race with another bus on Airport Road.
The students block all the adjacent roads and they vandalized at least six cars.
Roads in other part of the city are also blocked by them.
They blocked roads in Farmgate, Kawranbazar, Uttara House Building and other areas in the city from 10:30 in the morning.
Traffic movement has completely stopped through Farmgate area from the morning.
