Students have burnt effigy of Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan at Shahbagh roundabout.
They blocked roads in the area Wednesday demanding resignation of the minister and chanted slogans for safe roads.
A student seeking anonymity said, “These types of incident happen many times but there was never a trial of any accident in the country. This is the reason that the bus drivers go rechless.”
We demand safe roads for all, he added.
Another student said, “The shipping minister must resign within 24 hours, otherwise we will not stop our demonstration. The minister must also apologies.”
