Mentioning that the process of applying for mutation at all the land offices would be fully digitalised from the next year, Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury said no manual mutation applications would not be accepted after that, reports BSS.
This was stated by the minister at an exchange of view meeting with the assistant commissioners (land), who are participating in the basic land management course at the Land Administration Training Centre in Nilkhet in Dhaka on Thursday (Nov 28), said a press release.
The land minister said, “You have to manage your subordinates with intelligent leadership. Be careful of that they do not cause you any trouble or lead you astray while giving directives to the trainee officers.”
“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has increased the salaries of all the government officials for the betterment of their life. So, I want to convey a message that no one will get away doing corruption,” he added.
The present government has adopted a zero-tolerance policy against corruption, he added.
The land minister instructed the AC Lands to take over the newly constructed upazila and union land offices while returning to the workplace after the training.
Director of the training centre Md Abdul Hye was also present at the event.
It is noted that the e-Mutation process was officially implemented on Jul 1 this year at all the 485 upazila land offices and 3,617 union land offices across the country, it added.
However, manual applications are being accepted in some areas due to inadequate internet and power connections, he said, adding already, over 10 million citizens received land services through the e-Mutation system.
