A discussion on democracy and elections has been held at the city’s University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), says a media statement.
Supported by the American Center, civic education body Change Makers organized the ‘Democracy and Elections: Importance of Voting Among Youth’ program in cooperation with the ULAB on Monday (Jul 9).
Bill Moeller, Counselor for Political and Economic Affairs of US Embassy in Dhaka, was the speaker of the discussion and facilitated an interactive session.
ULAB Board of Trustees’ Special Advisor Professor Imran Rahman, faculty members and about 200 students of the ULAB participated in the program.
