The announcement came in a press briefing in the campus on Thursday.
Sheikh Moushumi, a master’s student of Women and Gender Studies said, “Quota reformist leader Rashed is in remand, Nur is under treatment in hospital and Faruq was sent to jail. In such reality, we can’t attend classes.”
They will continue to boycott classes until release, she added.
The female students of Begum Rokeya and Samsunnahar Hall also brought out a procession demanding safe campus.
Pro-government student wing Bangladesh Chtra League (BSL) allegedly attacked on several leaders and activists of quota reform movement on last Saturday and Monday in the campus.
However, the BSL claimed that the attacks took place due to internal feud among the quota reformists.
