The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has once again summoned Jatiya Party former Secretary General ABM Ruhul Amin Howlader on allegations of illegally amassing wealth.
An ACC notice, issued on Tuesday (May 14) instructed him to appear at its office on Apr 20.
The summon came after the Appellate Division, on Apr 28, stayed a High Court order that had stayed the watchdog’s notice to Howlader.
Earlier on Apr 3, the HC stayed the ACC’s notice to Howlader.
ACC Deputy Director Syed Ahmed had sent the notice summoning the JP leader for interrogation on allegations of corruption on Mar 28.
