Counter-terrorism and transnational crime (CTTC) unit of police detained two persons along with illegal arms and ammunition from the capital on early Thursday.
A number of 15 firearms and 1,622 round bullets were also recovered from their possession.
Confirming the news, DMP media and public relations department deputy commissioner Masudur Rahman told Bangla Tribune, “A press briefing will be arranged in this regard Thursday morning at DMP media centre.”
