A fire broke out at a tyre godown in Nawabpur area of the old part of the city on Thursday (Mar 7).
The fire broke at the godown around 2:30 pm, news agency UNB reports quoting the duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence control room.
On information, five firefighting units rushed there and have been trying to douse the fire till filing of this report around 3:3pm.
